Road & Traffic Information
The Public Works Department announced today that Dulles Dr. will be closed from the eastern part of its intersection with Westgate Rd. (LA 93) to the western part of its intersection with N. Domingue Rd. beginning Monday, February 3rd, for approximately 1.5 years, weather permitting. The project generally entails widening of Dulles Drive from two lanes to three lanes from eastern side of its intersection with Westgate Rd. (LA 93) through Ambassador Caffery.
The $6 million project will resurface US 190 from LA 111 to US 171.
The project has begun, and motorists can expect to see a one lane closure throughout the duration of the project. The lane closure location will be condensed to the current work zone and will move as the project progresses. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone by flaggers.
The entire project is anticipated to be complete in Fall 2020, weather permitting. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
