A LAFAYETTE MAN WAS ARRESTED TWO DAYS AGO FOR CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN AND RELEASED THE SAME DAY ON A THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR BOND. FORTY-THREE-YEAR-OLD TOMMY WEST HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH INDECENT BEHAVIOR WITH JUVENILES AND THREE COUNTS OF SEXUAL BATTERY. THE VICTIMS ARE TWO GIRLS UNDER THE AGE OF THIRTEEN, ACCORDING TO FAMILY MEMBERS WHO GAVE THAT INFORMATION TO KLFY-TV. THEY ARE OUTRAGED THAT WEST WAS RELEASED AND EXPRESSED CONCERN HE COULD RUN AWAY BEFORE HE’S PROSECUTED.

THE MAN’S WIFE OF TWELVE YEARS, TEQUELA MOUTON-FRANCIS, SAYS SHE THOUGHT SHE HAD A GOOD MARRIAGE AND IS NOW READY FOR JUSTICE TO BE SERVED AND TO GET PEACE IN HER LIFE.
