Monica Kyzar has been giving back since the Christmas morning that a nurse showed up with gifts for a baby Kyzar was afraid might die after brain surgery, and for his older brother.  The Daily Comet reports that she and her husband collected nearly 150 toys last year for Ochsner Hospital for Children in New Orleans, and are collecting again this year.  Kyzar says Beau went into respiratory failure on Christmas Eve 2013, but she took the nurse’s arrival with presents on Christmas as a sign that he’d be fine.  He’s now a healthy 2-year-old running around their house in the Lafourche Parish community of Valentine.
