How to Become a Partnering Church with The Upper Room
If you are the pastor of a church that believes in the power of prayer, you may want to consider becoming one of The Upper Room’s Partnering Churches. The only obligation is a little time and prayer and the rewards are out of this world – literally!
Twice a month each partnering church receives the Pastors’ Letter, a note of encouragement and inspiration, from The Upper Room along with a list of prayer requests that callers have agreed to allow us to print and distribute. We ask that the pastor read over the requests and personally pray for them.
The request list includes the caller’s hometown and, in some cases, other information such as phone numbers. This could be a good source for partnering churches for follow up. Also, from time to time The Upper Room receives calls from people new in the area who are seeking a home church. Those callers receive a list of all our partnering churches in their town or area. Presently The Upper Room partners with more than 150 churches in south Louisiana. If you would like to join the list of partnering churches, simply send an e-mail request for more information.
